ABOUT THE PRINTS
To cut a long story short, we've been doing this for a long time. Over the years, we've constantly strived to supply our prints in the finest possible quality available. We work with the best and most talented artists, designers and illustrators from the UK, and indeed all over the world. If you need further convincing, here's the lowdown on what you get when you purchase one of our art prints.
Print quality:
Over the years, we've tried just about every paper stock on the market. To date, we've yet to find anything that provides better print results than the Hanenmuhle paper mill from Germany. All of our prints are produced using 310 gsm Hanenmuhle stocks - if you're not a paper fan boy, that basically means a thick heavyweight paper. Mainly we print on a bright white, slightly textured paper and occasionally with artists that work with traditional media - we also print on textured, German Etching paper and Torchon.
Our prints are produced using the latest technology from Epson, utlilising Ultrachrome inks. What the hell does that mean? Well, it means the print you recieve is to a archival gallery standard. In other words - the best you can get.
Limited editions and certificates of authenticity:
The nature in which each limited edition print is released varies for each drop. Generally, to keep our business sustainable and supply your art at the best possible price - all prints are sent out with a certificate of authenticity, often signed by the artist who made the print. Included on the certificate is a numbered security hologram, a matching hologram is also attached to the back of the print.
For big print releases, we will always have the artist sign the print itself.
A general rule of thumb is to always check the product description - all releases are different. If in doubt, drop us an email.
How long does it take to get my print?
• All unframed artwork is printed and shipped withing 3-7 days.
• We will always try to get your prints to you in the quickest possible time - we can arrange for next day delivery on all items. So if you're in a rush, email us first. If we can help, we will do our best to help.
• During the Christmas season we advise 7-10 days on all print orders. Order in advance and if in doubt during this busy period, please email us first to check lead times.
